Field Service Engineering Specialist - Senior

As a Field Service Engineering Specialist - Senior at Cummins Inc., you will provide expert technical support to the Cummins Inc. Service Channel for complex service-related issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading investigations of product or system problems, understanding causal mechanisms, and recommending appropriate action
• Supporting failure analysis processes for common failure modes
• Documenting diagnostic and repair actions in the appropriate database
• Sharing acquired knowledge with other teams through various channels
• Providing onsite technical expert resource support when required
• Offering technical input for policy discussions and decisions
• Communicating with territories to ensure they are well-informed
• Investigating complex emerging issues and delivering robust technical solutions
• Assisting in field action campaigns and Infant Care or Value Package Introduction Programs
• Prioritizing safety in all activities
• Improving capability across the board through coaching, mentoring, and training
• Providing product and customer support in the field and acting as a liaison during escalations
• Implementing non-complex and complex Step 3 improvements and fixes
