Senior Associate/Vice President, Firm Financing

Morgan Stanley's Financial Resource and Strategy (FRS) division is seeking a Senior Associate/Vice President to join the Firm Financing team in Tokyo. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, providing market insights, and optimizing the firm's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a coordinated approach to client engagement and present the firm to clients
• Develop new and existing relationships with clients, including agent lenders, corporate treasurers, and pension funds
• Cross-sell the firm with MSIM, GCM, PWM, and ISG divisions, including sales and trading desks
• Articulate client needs and provide feedback on client and liquidity flows
• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to monetize firm assets externally in secured financing transactions

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong interest in sales/relationship management and financial markets, particularly equity and fixed income financing markets
• Understanding of key regulatory requirements and frameworks across financing markets
• Effective team player with strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in PPT, Excel, Bloomberg, and fluency in English (Japanese preferred)
