Description
The Demand Planner role is part of the PS Category Operations Team, which drives the worldwide demand forecast for HP's Personal Systems products. You will be responsible for demand planning for product families within the Desktop Thin Clients product portfolio. Your goal will be to load forecasts that enable the business to meet fiscal and calendar shipment goals while maximizing order conversion and delivering a high level of customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Load demand plans for assigned products
- Align forecasts with fiscal and calendar quarter shipment goals
- Align demand plans with product life cycles
- Manage connect rates for key components and sub-assemblies
- Ensure high levels of forecast accuracy
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a high-complexity global supply chain environment delivering complex manufactured products
- Four-year or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Experience with analyzing large sets of data
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Excel
