Business Analyst - Process

You will lead and oversee end-to-end project delivery, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.

You will build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and ensure disciplined execution.

As a senior Business Analyst, you will coach and mentor junior Business Analysts, supporting their development, collaboration, and high-quality output.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading business analysis activities, including eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements with stakeholders; translating needs into actionable plans
• Monitoring project performance, risks, issues, and dependencies; providing clear governance and regular status reporting
• Ensuring alignment to business objectives and identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and customer/colleague experience
• Overseeing quality assurance and promoting best practices to maintain consistent delivery standards across project outcomes
• Working closely with stakeholders in Life Operation to implement required system enhancements
• Providing ad-hoc support to team heads/leaders
• Fulfilling regulatory requirements and compliance governance
• Identifying potential problems during project execution that may cause impact to the company and clients
• Making constructive recommendations to resolve problems
• Collaborating with team members across different functional teams frequently to ensure clear communication is delivered to all stakeholders of the initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems
• 5-8 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry with a good understanding of operations and products
• Solid experience in business analysis and process improvement/re-engineering
• A proven track record of delivering initiatives
• Extensive knowledge of Life insurance products and operations
• Understanding of IT systems for process streamlining and service improvements
• Working knowledge of project delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile/Waterfall) and strong stakeholder governance
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and attention to detail, with a focus on control-minded execution
• Good knowledge of business analysis (preparing user requirement documents, performing user acceptance tests, reporting, etc.)
• Strong PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
