English Learner (EL) Teacher

We are seeking an English Learner (EL) Teacher to provide instructional support for students at our schools. The ideal candidate will have experience accelerating student learning and achievement, Spanish language proficiency, and knowledge of state requirements for testing and supporting EL students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support for students who are identified as English Learners in a variety of settings
• Conduct all required testing, monitor student growth and progress toward goals, and support outreach, communications, ELAC committees, and professional development
• Coordinate ELPAC testing and complete all annual training modules for the Initial and Summative assessment
• Review student assessment data to inform practices and curriculum development
• Support administration of the CSA for the State Seal of Biliteracy
• Present information at ELAC meetings and advocate for students and families

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid California Teaching Credential or ability to attain one based on out-of-state certification
• CLAD, BCLAD, or English Learner Authorization
• Complete annual ELPAC training
