Social Media Manager with Chinese - Gaming - Fixed-term

We are seeking a Social Media Manager with Chinese language skills to join our Engage service line, which provides technical support, community management, and trust & safety services for AAA and Indie studios in the gaming industry.

Job Details This is a fixed-term contract expected to last approximately 6 months, with a remote work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Engage with players by responding to comments on various social media platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to align on tone of voice, FAQs, and response guidelines.
• Provide cover as the main point of contact for Community Managers when the CM Lead is on holiday or sick leave.
• Manage client interactions when the CM Lead is on holiday or sick leave.
• Foster a positive work environment, build engagement, and resolve conflicts.

Analytics

• Create reports to analyze content performance and make recommendations.
• Assist the CM Lead in producing and delivering performance reports.

Leadership

• Lead the team in paid social media.
• Assist the CM Lead in managing processes and delivering community management services.
• Assist with training and coaching new and existing Community and Social Media Managers.

Business

• Develop calendars with creative ideation and produce engaging content.
• Schedule content across social channels and write copy aligning to brand voice.
• Support campaign planning, audience and trend research, and brand building.
• Align with the studio to understand available imagery and create additional assets when needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in community management/social media in gaming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience with Bilibili, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaoheihe.
• Passionate about video games and social media.
• Strong understanding of social media/community management platforms/channels.
