Account Manager

We are seeking a highly capable Account Manager to join the Demand team and support the growth of Flexport in the region.

As an Account Manager, you will own the customer experience from start to finish, helping clients grow and realise the Flexport value proposition by deeply understanding their supply chain and partnering to find solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and grow relationships with key business stakeholders
• Meet regularly with clients to monitor account health and find ways to improve their experience
• Identify, develop, and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities
• Keep a close pulse on client financial health and report on their financials
• Lead and participate in client onboarding and creating standard operating procedures
• Scope and guide implementation stages and timelines for new opportunities and clients
• Monitor client metrics data and work with Global Operations teams to ensure metrics meet client expectations
• Prepare and present quarterly strategy reviews with minimal guidance
• Drive product adoption with client stakeholders
• Review and document client success criteria
• Expand knowledge of supply chain processes through internal and external training
• Use data to monitor the health of your book of business

Prerequisites:

• 2-4 years of experience in sales/account management or a client-facing role
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain preferred
• Client-centric with strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and attention to detail
• Proven track record of selling a product
• Strong focus on growing customers through a consultative approach
