Senior Software Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities:

• Oversee Google Cloud Platform (BQ, GKE, GCE, Pub/Sub, Dataflow) operations. Ensure high availability and performance of critical business applications.
• Procure GCP resources like GCE, GKE, BQ datasets through Terraform using CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy applications on GKE by preparing service.yaml, ingress.yaml etc files.
• Fix platform violation and vulnerabilities based on group requirements and guidelines.
• Identify and implement automation solutions to reduce manual interventions. Work with engineering teams to integrate alert management and self-healing automation.
• Implement access control measures to prevent unauthorized system changes.

Requirements:

• Strong experience on GKE platform, create GKE cluster, pod services, GKE performance tuning, workload deployments, Ingress and Egress services on GKE.
• Good knowledge of IAM Roles and access provisioning.
• Capability to learn new open-source tools and install, configure them on GCP platform.
• Automation: Terraform, CI/CD pipeline, G3, HDPv2.
• 5+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years designing and running production systems on GCP.
