Java Software Engineer

As a Java Software Engineer, you will proactively contribute to enhancing our current applications written in Java 17. You will engage with senior stakeholders to break down complex and ambiguous problems/requirements into technical specifications. You will work autonomously in a high-trust environment and collaboratively with team members.

Key responsibilities:

• Enhance current Java 17 applications
• Engage with senior stakeholders to define technical specifications
• Work autonomously and collaboratively with the team
• Write unit, component, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests
• Leverage streaming in Java with AWS proprietary services
• Implement architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, CQRS, hexagonal, cloud-native)
• Use Spring Boot framework
• Work with databases (SQL, non-relational)

Information Security Responsibilities:

• Promote and enforce key information security practices
• Identify, assess, and report security risks
• Evaluate data storage, processing, and transmission
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle

Nice to have:

• Experience with Java 21
• Cloud Migration strategies
• Kafka Streaming
• Argo CD
• Gitlab for CI/CD processes
• Behaviour Driven Design with Cucumber
