Medical Representative

GSK is looking for a Medical Representative to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals in Erode, sharing science-based information to support better patient care.

The role involves creating and delivering a territory plan focused on local needs and customer insights, collaborating with colleagues to address challenges and improve patient access.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain respectful relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare partners
• Develop and execute a territory business plan based on customer insight and local patient needs
• Share clear and accurate science-based information to support healthcare professionals' decision-making
• Record and report activities, outcomes, and customer insights accurately
• Collaborate with colleagues across functions to address customer needs and improve patient access
• Continuously expand knowledge of clinical evidence, market trends, and ways to enhance performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in field sales, medical business, or territory management
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil
• Basic digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Right to work in India

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare roles
• Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals
• Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
• Ability to use customer insight and simple data to guide activities and priorities
• Fluency in Tamil and other local languages spoken in and around Erode
• High motivation to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibility
