Supply Chain Analyst

We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to provide functional support to end users in the Purchasing area regarding SAP MM processes.

As a Key User/Q User, you will act as the main point of contact between the business area and the IT team, translating business needs into system requirements and validating solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support to end users in the Purchasing area regarding SAP MM processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, source lists, vendor evaluation, and invoice verification.
• Act as the main point of contact (Key User/Q User) between the Purchasing/business area and the IT team, translating business needs into system requirements.
• Perform configuration, parameterization, testing, and troubleshooting within the SAP MM module, ensuring data integrity and process compliance.
• Support the integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI, WM/EWM) and with related Supply Chain systems.
• Actively participate in the implementation of the new SAP ecosystem, including requirements gathering, testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance), documentation, and end-user training.
• Support the transition and migration of Supply Chain and Purchasing systems over the coming years, ensuring business continuity during system changes and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement across the Purchasing systems landscape.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation, such as process flows, system configurations, and user guides.
• Train and guide end users on system usage and new functionalities.
• Monitor system performance, identify recurring issues, and propose corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of the SAP MM (Materials Management) module, including configuration and functional processes (purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification).
• Prior experience as a Key User/Q User or in a systems support role within Purchasing or Supply Chain areas.
• Experience with SAP implementation projects, system upgrades, or technology transitions is highly desirable.
• Understanding of integration points between SAP MM and other modules (e.g., SD, FI, WM/EWM).
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical solutions, acting as a liaison between business and IT teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to train and support end users.
• Experience preparing functional/technical documentation (process flows, configuration guides, user manuals).
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
• SAP certification (MM module) is a plus.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or Supply Chain systems is a plus.
