CAE Software & System Design Engineer

Honda is seeking a CAE Software & System Design Engineer to join their team in Raymond, Ohio. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling tools, methods, and processes necessary for the development and verification of advanced products.

The CAE Software & System Design Engineer will be responsible for:

• Supporting CAE system functionality, providing technical assistance, user support, and training to ensure effective tool utilization.
• Developing, maintaining, and improving process documentation, standards, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Monitoring software license utilization and system performance, recommending adjustments and optimization strategies to maximize efficiency and value.
• Analyzing current workflows, systems, and business processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased productivity.
• Supporting and executing projects focused on enhancing existing CAE systems, infrastructure, and engineering workflows.
• Contributing to and supporting next-generation CAE solutions.
• Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies as a productivity and decision-support resource to accelerate problem-solving, improve efficiency, and deliver business value.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An engineering or IT-related Bachelor's degree.
• 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of at least one engineering and CAE discipline, such as product design and manufacturing principles, enterprise product lifecycle management applications, mechanical engineering principles, or design and manufacturing applications.
• Working knowledge of at least one IT principle and concept, such as computer operating systems, database and application administration, programming skills, fundamentals of DevSecOps framework, agile development methods, or ability to communicate clearly in writing or verbally.
