Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing / Home Health - PRN

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at Good Samaritan Kearney SNF & Home Health. The position is PRN, covering Skilled Nursing Facilities and surrounding area Home Health clients. New grads are welcome.

The Physical Therapist will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease
• Utilizing tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards
• Documenting client/patient/resident information for evaluation and establishing therapeutic plans
• Educating clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home
• Demonstrating knowledge of current research into daily treatment of clients/patients/residents

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
