FBS - Claims Estimator Support I

Our Client, a leading US insurer, serves over 10 million households with 19 million policies across 50 states. The Estimator Support I role supports physical damage claims by preparing accurate repair estimates and evaluations within guidelines.

This entry-level position focuses on developing estimating expertise while ensuring high-quality documentation, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to efficient claim evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate repair estimates and evaluations for assigned physical damage claims using claims estimating systems.
• Apply established repair practices, valuation guidelines, and material standards to produce complete and well-documented estimates.
• Document estimate details within claims systems to support claim evaluation and approval processes.
• Execute estimating activities within defined authority levels and escalate complex or non-standard cases when appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, peers, and senior estimators to clarify estimate requirements and resolve routine questions.
• Identify discrepancies and support their resolution under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance with company procedures while meeting productivity expectations.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of related professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of automotive repair or property repair principles.
• Experience working with estimating or claims management systems.
