The Production Operator works in a manufacturing environment, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing work according to the production schedule
- Informing supervisors of significant problems or concerns
- Completing production records and inventory transactions
- Updating process documentation and raw material inventory using SAP
- Following established production procedures and instructions
- Meeting production deadlines
- Cleaning, securing, and maintaining work areas
- Performing shipping and receiving functions
The ideal candidate has:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Chemical, electrical, or mechanical technician experience
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Forklift certification (desirable)
- HAZMAT training or experience (desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting and decision-making skills, and basic computer skills are required. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus.
