Description

Electronic Arts is seeking an Anti-Cheat Operations Engineer to join their Security team. As an Anti-Cheat Operations Engineer, you will monitor the environment of EA's games using their internal anti-cheat solution, investigate suspected cheating activity, and gather threat intelligence to support anti-cheat and user-generated content protection pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor anti-cheat operations dashboards
  • Investigate suspected cheating activity
  • Gather threat intelligence to support anti-cheat and user-generated content protection pipelines
  • Perform triage and investigations of enforcement appeals
  • Collaborate with other engineers to improve detection quality
  • Plan work related to anti-cheat operations and investigations
  • Communicate task progress and blockers to the team
  • Write concise documentation on anti-cheat operations
  • Identify needs and improvements to current anti-cheat processes
  • Develop technical skills in the anti-cheat space

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience as a SOC Tier 1 analyst with SIEM technologies
  • Knowledge of the cheating problem in the gaming industry
  • Basic knowledge of operating system fundamentals
  • Ability to articulate complex technical topics to various audiences
  • Identify knowledge gaps and seek resources to close them
  • Handle potentially malicious software safely
  • Pick up new technical skills quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
