As a Senior Data and AI Specialist, you will unlock exceptional growth for Twilio's customers and business. You will use data analysis, scripting, and agentic workflows to improve product quality, fight fraud, reduce billing errors, and optimize gross margins for our global telecommunications network.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, test, and deploy LLMs and agents to automate unstructured, multi-step data investigations.
  • Architect, test, and deploy automated workflows (using Python) to transform repetitive manual processes into scalable impact.
  • Implement strong data architecture and AI orchestration frameworks for safety, accuracy, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Perform SQL queries and multi-step data analyses across complex telecommunications datasets to optimize gross margins, reduce fraud, and improve network quality.
  • Design dashboards and repeatable BI solutions (using Tableau, Looker, or Python) that deliver actionable insights to business partners.
  • Collaborate with Carrier Relations, Enterprise Technology, Product, Supply Operations, and Finance to translate complex business needs into data requirements and governance standards.
  • Act as a self-starter who takes end-to-end ownership of data products – from scoping requirements and authoring documentation to final execution and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in developing technical data and automation solutions.
  • Extensive experience working with SQL and relational database schemas.
  • Extensive experience with Google Sheets (or Excel), Tableau, and/or Looker.
  • Experience using Python, APIs, or workflow platforms (e.g., Airtable, Coefficient, Zapier/n8n) to build automated data workflows and process pipelines.
  • Experience building agents (e.g. Claude Code, Claude Cowork, OpenAI, Gemini) and training LLM models to solve complex, multi-step, unstructured problems.
