Description
Leidos Australia is seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead a portfolio of concurrent Survey and Quote (S&Q) projects within a complex Defence ICT environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Leading the planning, mobilisation, execution, acceptance, and closure of multiple concurrent S&Q projects and work packages
- Developing and maintaining integrated delivery plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and project controls to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Providing day-to-day leadership for a multidisciplinary delivery squad, partnering with technical leaders to align project priorities and delivery activities
- Managing scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, changes, and financial performance while maintaining visibility of delivery progress
- Building trusted stakeholder relationships and providing clear reporting, governance, review, assurance, testing, and customer acceptance activities throughout the project lifecycle
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple ICT, software, or systems projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders within complex, matrixed environments
- Strong capability in project controls, including scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, change management, and governance reporting
- Experience working with Agile, iterative, or hybrid delivery approaches and software development lifecycle practices
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold, or be eligible to obtain, NV-2 security clearance.
