Description
This is a pivotal opportunity to architect and scale the HR function across Flexport's growing fulfillment network.
You will partner directly with Operations leadership, driving the strategic transition from a contingent to a full-time workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy tailored for Flexport's Omni (fulfillment) operations, aligning with business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the strategic transition from a temporary to a full-time workforce across all fulfillment centers, including legal compliance, policy development, talent acquisition, and employee integration.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing HR team across multiple geographically dispersed fulfillment center locations.
- Ensure robust multi-state compliance for all HR policies, practices, and programs, mitigating risk in a heavily regulated environment and manage claims and adherence to the policies.
- Partner effectively with Operations leadership to drive talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management initiatives.
- Champion and drive culture, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion initiatives across the Omni network.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading HR functions in multi-site, large-scale operational environments (e.g., fulfillment, logistics, manufacturing).
- Deep expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee relations for large non-exempt workforces.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling HR capabilities in new regions or rapidly expanding organizations.
- Strong knowledge of US labor laws, claim management, and multi-state compliance requirements, particularly in states like NJ, WI, TX, GA, and CA.
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- A 'compliance first' attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.

Salary: $170,000-$210,000 USD
