Description
In the position of Software Integration Tester, you will lead our efforts in delivering high-quality Infotainment software experiences for our customers. The person in this software test position is passionate about validating and verifying new Infotainment features and solutions.
As a Software Integration Tester, you will be required to understand product requirements and integration test steps to validate production software. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing software tests for high-profile products. You will perform testing in complex multi-ECU test setups or test vehicles. A solid understanding of vehicle network architecture is required, and knowledge of important infotainment features will be critical in the role. Understanding how key vehicle ECUs communicate with the Infotainment ECU to troubleshoot common vehicle network issues is a must.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, planning, and execution of test methods and automation scripts for requirements verification purposes at multiple integration or solution levels.
- Lead incidents triage, contribute to risk assessment definition, perform root cause analysis, and design preventive actions.
- Use Test Management tools for test planning creation, execution, monitoring, and reporting of test results.
- Perform testing in complex multi-ECU test setups or test vehicles.
- Troubleshoot vehicle network issues related to the Infotainment ECU.
- Use defect management tools for defect creation and monitoring resolution.
- Be a proven expert with automation tools and strategies, contributing to mentorship and coaching for colleagues.
- Follow and promote code artisanship best practices, quality, and security standards, and contribute to their improvement.
- Understand and apply industry Software Quality Assurance standards.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an applicable degree, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 8+ years of advanced professional experience with Software or Requirements Verifications projects.
- 5+ years of professional experience implementing test strategies and designing test strategies.

- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an applicable degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in Requirements Engineering, Electrical Architecture, Software Architectures, or Functional Architectures.
- Experience with multiple tech stacks and verification of their functions, including QNX and Android Automotive.
- Experience leading agile teams and following agile practices.
- Demonstrated success creating evolutionary Design Verification architectures and Automation Frameworks.
