Physical Therapist I - Outpatient

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I - Outpatient to join our team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy Harrisburg YMCA.

As a Physical Therapist I - Outpatient, you will evaluate patients, select and administer assessment techniques, and synthesize information to establish an appropriate patient care plan.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patients
• Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aides as required

Physical Requirements:

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, and lift patients and equipment

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• BLS certification
