General Maintenance

NASCAR seeks a talented professional for a General Maintenance role based at Richmond Raceway.

The General Maintenance position involves routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and track services duties at America's Premier Short Track, a ¾-mile D-shaped oval that hosts a NASCAR race weekend annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance functions, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance/repairs
• Weld, cut, and fabricate materials
• Test repaired equipment for operating efficiency
• Requisition parts and equipment with supervisor approval
• Maintain records and reports
• Ensure general housekeeping for a clean and safe facility
• Prepare, maintain, and restore the track
• Clean the track through sweeping, blowing, applying and picking up absorbent, washing/scrubbing fluids off the track, etc.
• Perform general maintenance around the facility, including painting
• Operate and maintain various equipment such as vehicles, lifts, and heavy machinery
• Install and store signage throughout the property
• Assist with fleet management and inventory
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with two years of experience and/or training in building services or business operations
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utilities, and facility maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to perform hands-on work and safely move equipment and materials
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required for events
• Valid driver's license in good standing and a clean driving record
