Description
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Utilities Engineer to join our Development team, specialising in sustainable development infrastructure solutions. You will engage and advise clients on technical utilities matters, from feasibility to finding innovative technical solutions and implementing new services, diversions, and decommissioning.
Responsibilities:
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to maintain existing and develop new client relationships.
- Deliver schemes on budget and ensure high standards of work and information are provided to clients.
- Provide an experienced senior point of contact for clients on key projects.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the quality service and professional reputation.
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
- Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience delivering utility connections, diversions, and utility infrastructure strategies.
- Understanding of requirements of Electricity, Gas, Water, and Telecommunications networks owners.
- Experience of Multi-utility/iDNO/ICP offerings would be beneficial.
- Ability to develop utility demand calculations and project experience of large multi-disciplinary infrastructure schemes.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and effectively organise time.
- Working knowledge of BIM standards and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and AutoCAD/Civils 3D experience.
