Description
We are seeking an Associate Director (Infrastructure Planning) to join our team at WSP. As a leading consultancy, we offer a global scale, landmark projects, and opportunities to work with the brightest minds in the field. Our Infrastructure Planning business has recently won several notable contracts and frameworks, including with National Grid as part of the Great Grid Partnership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Acting as Project Director for projects led and managed by the Infrastructure Planning business
- Acting as Planning Expert Witness at DCO examinations or other hearings or inquiries
- Leading complex negotiations with statutory bodies and stakeholders on behalf of clients
- Demonstrating strong understanding of project finances and project management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment
- Providing line management and mentoring to colleagues
Requirements include:
- Degree level qualification in town planning (or equivalent)
- Membership of the RTPI
