Officer - Nominee & Issuer Service Operations - Operations

The Securities Admission Team at HKEX is responsible for the admission and onboarding of new securities into HKSCC. You will manage the end-to-end admission process for a wide range of securities, including equity IPOs using FINI, structured products, ETFs, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily Securities Admission operations in compliance with clearing house rules, procedures, and internal policies
• Review issuers' listing documents and oversee the full lifecycle of FINI EIPO, including coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Recommend and implement operational process enhancements to improve efficiency, control, and service quality
• Support automation and process reengineering initiatives to reduce manual processing and operational risk
• Identify exceptions and contingency situations in a timely manner and escalate issues to management as appropriate

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in reputable financial institutions
• Knowledge of asset servicing and nominee/custodial operations across equities, debt securities, and derivatives in Hong Kong, exposure to Mainland China markets is an advantage
• Familiarity with International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs) such as Euroclear and Clearstream is highly desirable
• Strong team player with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Chinese word processing
• Knowledge of Macros and VBA is an advantage
