Senior Manager - IT Audit Support Service

We are seeking a Senior Manager for our IT Audit Support Service team at AIA in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of controls in information systems and related procedures to ensure compliance with AIA policies, procedures, and standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, executing, and completing assigned IT audit jobs according to GIA Standards
• Providing strong input to build a Group IT audit team with expertise in Cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and technical security controls
• Adjusting IT audit plans based on changing IT controls, risk posture, and business priorities
• Building strong relationships with key IT Management through regular interactions
• Preparing audit reports and facilitating discussions on issues and remedial action plans
• Following up on outstanding audit issues and monitoring timely completion of agreed remedial actions
• Partnering with financial auditors to assess application IT controls related to key business processes
• Contributing to team development through coaching, training, and providing feedback to junior staff
• Taking initiative in self-improvement through training and development
• Leading other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Director of IT Audit

Requirements:

• University graduate in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT audit, Information Security, or relevant fields, preferably with regional experience
• Certification in CISSP, CISA, or CISM with strong understanding of IT controls and risks
• Excellent command of oral and written English
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure, Cybersecurity, system development processes, and business continuity management
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing is an advantage
• Experience in the life insurance business or financial services industry is desirable
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to direct multiple engagements simultaneously
