Senior System Engineer

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland.

The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating the technical backbone of the Audi F1 Team, including datacenter, cloud, Kubernetes, network, and workplace platforms across factory and racetrack environments.

Your Mission

• Engineer and operate core infrastructure platforms, including virtualization, storage, backup, server, client, and supporting infrastructure services
• Contribute to security initiatives, such as endpoint hardening, vulnerability management, and segregation
• Support racetrack operations and remote infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure race execution
• Engineer, operate, and continuously improve identity and endpoint management platforms, including Active Directory, Group Policy, EntraID, and Intune
• Support and integrate network and cloud services in collaboration with dedicated teams and persons within IT Infrastructure
• Engineer, operate, and continuously improve endpoint management and client platforms

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience
• Several years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering in enterprise environments
• Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, especially Windows Server & Active Directory Domain Services (including domain management, Group Policy, and identity services)
• Endpoint management (e.g., Intune / SCCM)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (i.e., VMware) and hybrid cloud environments
• Practical experience with IT infrastructure operations, including system lifecycle management, patching, and configuration
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificates, and secure system integration
• Basic experience with databases and their operational support (e.g., installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting in collaboration with specialists)
• Basic understanding of networking and cloud environments (integration perspective, no design ownership required)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code / scripting and automation / monitoring and logging platforms / ServiceNOW would be nice to have
• Fluent in English
