As an AI Tutor - Physics Specialist at xAI, you will enhance cutting-edge AI technologies by providing high-quality input and labels using specialized software.
You will collaborate closely with the technical team to support the training of new AI tasks, contributing to innovative initiatives.
Your responsibilities include:
- Using proprietary software applications to provide input/labels on defined projects.
- Supporting and ensuring the delivery of high-quality curated data.
- Playing a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to the training of new tasks.
- Interacting with the technical staff to help improve the design of efficient annotation tools.
- Solving problems that help drive innovation in physics.
- Choosing problems from various fields across physics.
- Regularly interpreting, analyzing, and executing tasks based on given instructions.
The ideal candidate has:
- A Master's or PhD in physics or a highly related field.
- Expertise in one or more subdomains of physics.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Strong ability to navigate various information resources.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Advanced expertise in physics.
- Previous AI Tutoring experience.
- Teaching experience.
- Experience in technical writing.
The position offers:
- $45/hour - $75/hour for US-based candidates.
