Physical Therapist - Acute Care Therapy - Greater Charlotte - PRN

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care locations in the Greater Charlotte area. This is a PRN opportunity, not a float or travel position.

Job Summary As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, establish care plans, and provide therapy services to help them achieve optimal function and mobility.

Essential Functions

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans
• Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patient interactions
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
• Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and other clinical staff
• Provide patient and family education on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Supervise and direct Physical Therapist Assistants, Technicians, students, and volunteers

Physical Requirements

• Hearing and vision adequate for communication and reading
• Intelligible speech and adequate language/cognitive skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, twist, bend, and lift patients and equipment
• Occasional crouching, crawling, and reaching overhead

Education, Experience, and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy
• CPR Certification and BLS required
