Technical Program Manager, RL Research

As a Technical Program Manager on the reinforcement learning team at Anthropic, you will own the systems and programs that determine how fast our research moves. You will need real technical depth, including the ability to debug data pipelines, read RL transcripts to spot issues, and make allocation and quality decisions in real time. You will also need organisational effectiveness, including the ability to navigate a fast-growing organisation and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a regular read on the ground truth in RL research
• Work with RL org leads on prioritising, ranking, and tracking the state of experiments
• Drive research reviews end to end
• Establish processes and frameworks that bring structure to an unstructured research setting
• Collaborate with research leads, infrastructure engineers, and data operations to identify blockers and make technical trade-off decisions

The annual compensation range for this role is $365,000-$435,000 USD.
