Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team at Jones Services in Goshen, NY. As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for installing residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, central AC systems, air handlers, and condensers
- Complete system change-outs, replacements, and new installations
- Run line sets, condensate lines, venting, drains, and low-voltage wiring
- Perform brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging, and system start-up
- Install and modify ductwork as needed
- Read installation instructions, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Test completed systems to ensure proper operation and performance
- Communicate with homeowners and maintain a clean and professional work area
- Follow all safety procedures, codes, and manufacturer requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Hands-on experience installing HVAC equipment and complete systems
- EPA 608 certification
- Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail
- Service Titan knowledge
- Experience brazing, pressure testing, vacuuming, and charging systems
- Basic electrical and low-voltage knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of an install team
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
