Description
As a Market Street Team Leader at Morrisons, you will lead and support foodmakers to deliver great service, vibrant counter displays, and tasty food for local shoppers every day.
You will coach your team, multi-skill colleagues across departments, and work alongside managers to deliver sales and keep standards high.
Responsibilities:
- Lead your team to deliver friendly, attentive service across all counters, listening to customer feedback and helping resolve queries quickly.
- Coordinate day-to-day counter communication, multi-skilling colleagues across departments and coaching them to build confidence and high performance.
- Work in partnership with managers to deliver departmental sales plans, using product knowledge and active selling to build trade and hit targets.
- Maintain high shopkeeping standards, follow production plans to minimise waste and markdowns, and ensure full compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading teams and coaching colleagues for success.
- Strong operational knowledge of fresh food counters.
- Ability to plan workload efficiently, handle daily priorities smoothly, and analyse department data to spot opportunities.
- Practical approach to daily routines, keeping a close eye on stock rotation, date code checking, food safety, and waste reduction.
