Keywords Studios is looking for native speakers of various languages to join our video game linguistic testing team.
As a selected candidate, you will be added to our candidate pool and contacted when a work opportunity arises.
Main Tasks
- Proofread texts and video game content (spelling, syntax, typography)
- Check text consistency and propose changes where necessary
- Write error reports
- Perform minor and simple translations
- Verify subtitles match audio tracks
Requirements
- Mastery of one of the following languages (spoken and written):
- German
- Korean
- Croatian
- Danish
- European Spanish
- Latin American Spanish
- Finnish
- French (European)
- Greek
- Hebrew
- Hungarian
- Indonesian
- Malay
- Dutch
- Norwegian
- Polish
- Romanian
- Swedish
- Thai
- Czech
- Turkish
- Vietnamese
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Additional Requirements
- Reside in the Montreal area
- Be available to work from home or in the office depending on project requirements
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, have an open work permit, a working holiday visa, or be in the process of applying for a work permit
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Comfortable with digital technologies (computers, video game consoles, touch screens)
- Interest in the video game industry
- Relevant experience or experience in a similar role (an asset)
