As a Harness Manufacturing Associate, you will support manufacturing engineers with process documentation and work instruction review. You will assist with wire harness and cable assembly builds, participate in quality inspections, and help analyze manufacturing issues.
Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing engineers with process documentation and work instruction review
- Assist with wire harness and cable assembly builds, including cutting, stripping, crimping, labeling, and lacing
- Participate in quality inspections
- Help analyze manufacturing issues such as defects, rework, and throughput constraints
- Assist with equipment qualification, tooling and fixture improvements, and test setups
- Support DFM/DFA feedback to engineering teams
- Collect and review production data for process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operation
- Must be onsite 5 days a week
