Software Development Engineer In Test II

Greenlight is seeking a Software Development Engineer In Test II to build robust frameworks that validate customer journey flows and end-to-end scenarios. The ideal candidate will formulate tools and frameworks for developers to adopt, build and execute integration points for testing in deployment pipelines, and design and execute scalable testing plans.

Responsibilities:

• Define the scope and procedures for quality engineering of the application
• Determine the best automation framework fit to enable developers to own testing features
• Design and build agent-driven test automation frameworks
• Develop AI agents for test case generation
• Implement self-healing automation to improve test stability
• Test APIs for resiliency, latency, and performance
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand customer needs
• Understand how to create reusable components in projects
• Triage potential problems with logging solutions
• Interface with service teams on a regular basis
• Own testing metrics to track and identify gaps

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software development engineer in test
• Experience building and using mobile and web automation using Appium, Cypress
• Experience with API automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI/LLM-based systems
• Experience in self-healing automation frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with non-functional testing automation
• Experience testing GraphQL
• Prior consulting experience
• Experience leading ambiguous situations
