IFRS17 Actuarial Specialist (2-Year Contract)

Prudential is seeking an IFRS17 Actuarial Specialist to join their team in Singapore on a 2-year contract.

The successful candidate will participate in the IFRS17 reporting for Prudential Singapore, providing feedback on regional and local technical interpretations of the standards, reviewing business requirements, and providing actuarial support to solution design teams and IT.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing feedback on technical interpretations of IFRS17 standards
• Reviewing business requirements and providing actuarial support to solution design teams and IT
• Supporting the implementation of changes to end-to-end ETL tools
• Participating in UAT for ETL tools and source system changes
• Ensuring end-to-end reporting processes and controls are in place
• Analyzing and explaining IFRS17 results
• Performing reconciliations between IFRS17 basis and other reporting basis
• Supporting audits on IFRS17 reporting
• Providing actuarial support to finance division initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-5 years of actuarial experience (AM level) or equivalent analytical role
• Qualified actuary status from a recognized professional actuarial body
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Good understanding of insurance products
• Familiarity with Prophet systems and valuation data management programs (e.g., SQL)
