Senior System Software Engineer — CPU Platform SBIOS Technical Delivery Lead

NVIDIA is building a Taiwan-based team to support CPU programs, working with counterparts in the United States. The team will provide in-person and in-time-zone support for NVIDIA platform factories and ODM/OEM partner factories.

As a Senior System Software Engineer , CPU Platform SBIOS Technical Delivery Lead, you will address SBIOS issues reported by customers, partners, ODMs, and internal stakeholders. You will work across varied code bases and modules to investigate and resolve problems, and engage domain experts when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person and in-time-zone support for NVIDIA platform factories and ODM/OEM partner factories.
• Address SBIOS issues reported by customers, partners, ODMs, and internal stakeholders.
• Solve the majority of reported problems directly, bringing in domain experts as needed.
• Work across varied code bases and modules to investigate and resolve problems.
• Develop tools and use AI to solve engineering problems.
• Use AI to accelerate analysis, exploration, and documentation while maintaining rigor, originality, and judgment.

AI in this role:

• Develop tools that help solve reported SBIOS issues using AI.
• Accelerate problem analysis and exploration across varied code bases using AI.
• Apply judgment to know when AI output should be trusted, verified, or overridden.
• Share effective AI patterns, prompts, and tools with fellow engineers.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant firmware or embedded engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in varied code bases across modules and solve problems.
• Demonstrated experience using AI to develop tools and solve problems.
• Ability to solve issues independently and work effectively with domain experts when needed.
