Senior Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team in Guarulhos, Brazil. As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of new and current products in Brazil.

Responsibilities:

• Lead reliability efforts for new and existing products in Brazil
• Conduct basic to complex reliability analyses using methodologies such as Weibull, Prediction, and MABs
• Drive continuous improvement of the reliability process through Functional Excellence (REFE)
• Lead the Emerging Issues process to identify potential product problems and direct necessary actions
• Lead the Signals process to anticipate possible failures and coordinate mitigation actions
• Facilitate PQC meetings to centralize and manage new failures reported by functional areas
• Provide technical expertise on reliability throughout the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build trust relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline
• Fluent English language skills for communication with global teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, preferably 7-Steps Problem Solving
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering, preferably in engine architecture and vehicle after-treatment systems
• Postgraduate degree or specialisation in Reliability (desirable)
• Experience in the automotive or heavy vehicle sector (desirable)
• Familiarity with reliability software/tools, e.g., ReliaSoft (desirable)

Work Model:

• Hybrid model: 3 days on-site at the plant and 2 days remote work per week
