Manager, FWD/RWD Driveline Systems

We are seeking a Manager, FWD/RWD Driveline Systems to lead corporate design and verification strategy for Driveline systems globally. You will employ manufacturing best practices, lead new program development, and drive quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage global teams across various regions, including North America, Europe, South America, Australia, and China.
• Lead application engineering for driveline system integration from virtual phase to product launch.
• Own variable cost and vendor tooling for in-flight driveline commodities to achieve company EBIT targets.
• Drive comprehensive waste management and year-over-year cost-save initiatives.
• Ensure total responsibility for lifetime quality.
• Formulate and deliver departmental strategy initiatives.
• Manage department spending budgets.
• Collaborate with system architecture and core manager for system selections, business planning, and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience with design and release processes of driveline components.
• 10+ years of automotive experience.
• Knowledge of axle/driveline manufacturing process, metallurgy, and heat treatment.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and travel to supplier or Ford assembly plants.
