Senior Product Manager - Developer Productivity

As a Senior Product Manager at Okta, you will own developer productivity as a product across Okta's development lifecycle , AI-native and traditional tooling alike.

You will start by interviewing engineers, managers, tech leads, and architects; mapping current inner- and outer-loop tooling and frictions; and baselining dev-cycle metrics.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Defining the vision, PRDs, and prioritised backlog for Okta's internal developer productivity and AI tooling
• Treating engineers as customers and conducting deep, bottom-up discovery
• Running hands-on, structured evaluations of inner- and outer-loop tooling
• Embedding full-time with Developer Productivity Engineering and owning the roadmap jointly with its engineering leads
• Measuring success by connecting tool usage directly to hard engineering outcomes
• Coordinating the vision for reducing implementation diversity across Okta and Auth0 engineering

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of product management experience with developer platforms, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or AI products
• Experience owning internal or platform products where users have alternatives
• Strong understanding of modern software development workflows
• Hands-on, current fluency with AI-assisted software development
• Demonstrated ability to design and run technology evaluations and controlled experiments
• Ability to engage credibly in technical and architectural discussions with senior engineers
• Strong cross-functional leadership and influence skills

The annual base salary range for this position is $146,000-$200,000 CAD.
