Platform Operations Analyst

This is a hands-on operations role focused on running and sharpening the day-to-day operation of reconciliation and loss detection.

You will own the day-to-day execution of reconciliation and loss detection, resolve issues, and improve the process and automate manual parts.

The Platform Operations team safeguards customer funds and keeps financial operations accurate, transparent, and scalable.

Responsibilities:

• Own reconciliation execution and exceptions research across customer cash and money movement
• Monitor transactions to detect discrepancies, anomalies, and potential losses
• Identify, escalate, track, and close individual payment-related issues
• Contribute to financial close and reporting accuracy
• Tighten controls on processes and recommend enhancements
• Partner with Engineering to resolve underlying product or system gaps
• Strengthen documentation for durability and repeatability
• Use AI to automate manual workflows
• Share builds with teammates to raise efficiency
• Prioritize manual, repetitive, and high-volume work for automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical field
• 3-4 years in an operations, analyst, or similar role
• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, or financial services/accounting operations
• Familiarity with reconciliation, cash management, ACH/NACHA rules, or card networks
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance requirements
• Demonstrated use of AI to automate real, manual workflows
• Strong analytical and data skills
• Genuine curiosity about how money and financial systems connect
• Process improvement instinct
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
