Description
The Ford Pro Upfitter Specialist (FPU Specialist) leads Ford Pro's relationship with and evaluation of upfitters in the Ford Pro Upfitter Qualification Program.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate eligible upfitters on Ford Pro Upfitter Program requirements focused on operations and engineering quality processes and qualify/deny upfitters into the program.
- Travel to customer locations for face-to-face meetings to evaluate facilities on Ford Pro Upfitter program requirements and strengthen relationships with Ford Pro and the Ford Pro Upfit Team.
- Achieve objectives and key results with qualified FPU upfitters, including milestone completion and adherence to FPU program requirements.
- Refine and execute the FPU go-to-market strategy to enroll and certify new upfitters.
- Provide counsel to fleet customers on new product offerings, production and distribution timing.
- Represent Ford Pro at fleet conventions, industry associations, and other local and national fleet events.
- Support national coverage across assigned customers and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of automotive or manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of operations and engineering quality processes.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% or as needed to support customer and partner engagement.
