Barista

SpaceXAI's Hospitality team serves employees, customers, and visitors with snacks, meals, and events. As a Barista, you will provide excellent customer service, quality beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, maintain, and clean workstations and surrounding areas
• Perform cleaning and maintenance on equipment and drip coffee stations
• Complete daily record keeping and tasks
• Meet time and quality standards while working with urgency
• Engage customers, fulfill orders, and demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Assist with catering and event requests
• Adhere to safety guidelines and food safety practices
• Prepare coffee, espresso, tea beverages, and food products
• Operate espresso machines with high proficiency

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of barista experience or 2+ years in customer service in a food service environment
• Ability to carry heavy items and stand for long periods
• Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
• Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Team player with collaboration and training abilities
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must have or obtain a state Food Handlers card

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of barista experience
• Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in high-volume output and team settings
• Effective communication, time management, and food safety knowledge
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of barista equipment
