Senior Software Engineer (Java & DSA)

Okta is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Azure Integrations team in Bengaluru, India. This is a hybrid role that focuses on integrating with Microsoft's Azure AD Identity Platform.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software. You will work with the team to design and implement high-performance distributed scalable and fault-tolerant software components.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the Azure Integrations codebase and development process
• Analyse, refine and shape requirements with product management and other stakeholders
• Provide support and handle incoming bugs and customer reported issues
• Work with various stakeholders to scope and plan engineering efforts
• Design and implement high-performance distributed scalable and fault-tolerant software components
• Participate in PR reviews with the team
• Mentor more junior team members
• Own features and/or systems and define their long-term health and observability and reliability metrics

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience building highly reliable, mission-critical software
• Experience working with systems of scale ranging from monolithic applications to microservices
• Experience with server-side technologies including caching, asynchronous processing, and multi-threading
• Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis experience
• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgrounds

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Microsoft's Graph APIs
• Experience with modern front-end development such as ReactJS
