Director of Wholesale Sales

Squishable is looking for a Director of Wholesale Sales to manage and grow its wholesale sales channel. The successful candidate will create and execute a strategic plan to grow existing accounts and find new ones.

Responsibilities:

• Expand core business lines and develop strategies to support new product line launches
• Manage and develop the internal sales team, consisting of 6-8 sales professionals
• Build the inside sales strategy, including outreach programs, training, and incentive programs
• Manage and train independent sales representative teams
• Develop and grow the existing domestic customer base
• Manage 10-15 national and international trade shows annually
• Solicit feedback and implement suggestions from key wholesale customers
• Partner with the executive team to shape the international growth strategy
• Work directly with customers in the custom/white-label production business
• Collaborate with the product development team to develop new lines and product concepts

Skills:

• Wholesale sales experience with specialty toys/gifts or similar consumer products
• CRM/ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite
• Reporting and presenting KPIs and recommendations to the executive team
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing market
• Self-motivation and ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, and/or marketing
• 6-9 years of successful toy/consumer products sales experience
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing growth strategies
• Experience operating internationally, either directly or through distribution agreements, is preferred
