Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in Operations in Kendal. You'll be the backstage powerhouse of our stores, working behind the scenes to ensure our shop floor stays full, clean, and ready for our customers to shop.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working flexibly across the store where needed
- Using digital tools confidently to track deliveries and manage stock efficiently
- Being a team player and supporting colleagues across the store
- Adapting quickly to changing demands and priorities
The role involves operating mechanical equipment, so applicants must be 18 years or older. The work pattern is part-time, with set shifts on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 04:30 to 08:30. Due to operational requirements, you may be asked to work up to full-time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.
The hourly rate is not specified, but there is a £3.00 per hour unsocial premium for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00.
