Technical Architect

About the role

As a Technical Architect at Anthropic, you will play a crucial role in helping customers implement Claude Code, Claude Tag, and enterprise admin controls. You will teach customers, partners, and Anthropic's field teams, as well as train the trainers who will carry that knowledge to everyone else.

Responsibilities

• Teach in various formats, including public webinars, workshops, and office hours
• Train the trainers for customer technologists and champions
• Empower admins with technical requirements for a strong rollout
• Build fast with Claude and explore new features
• Bring field signal back to product
• Be the technical voice in the room
• Travel 30-50% for onsite meetings, workshops, and events

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, or similar
• Current engineering range with experience shipping code and teaching engineering audiences
• Big-stage presence with experience holding large live audiences
• Range in one conversation, from banter to rigorous design discussions
• Care for people and a stake in safe AI
• Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving industry and product suite

Nice to Have

• Depth in enterprise identity and security review
• Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI
• Time with regulated industries or systems-integrator partners
• A public record of technical teaching
• An interest outside technology

Logistics

• Annual salary: $250,000-$365,000 USD
• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Required field of study: Relevant to the role
• Minimum years of experience: Correlates with internal job level requirements
