As our Decontamination Manager, you will lead the delivery of the Decontamination service at Clifton Park Hospital in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for a progressive leader who is looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the provision of our ISO 13485 standard decontamination service for reusable medical devices to designated hospitals within Ramsay Health Care UK
- Accountability for the operational performance of the decontamination service at Clifton Park
- Working within a defined budget to ensure that services are provided efficiently, whilst maintaining the quality of the product issued
- Working as an Autonomous Practitioner across all areas
- Demonstrating excellent Leadership skills to provide direction to the team in order to achieve operational objectives
- Supporting the wellbeing and development of staff through an effective appraisal process
Requirements:
- Extensive experience gained in a management position within decontamination
- Must hold a recognised decontamination qualification (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as lead a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to deliver and implement change positively
- Flexible in approach to meet the changing needs of the business
- Management certificate or equivalent would be an advantage
