About the Role

The Director will lead a team of Product Managers, Senior Product Managers, and Product Analysts, and act as a cross-functional leader influencing senior stakeholders across teams such as Engineering, Design, Category Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to bring new products to life.

Responsibilities

• Own complex and impactful product charters for Meesho
• Define a compelling product vision and strategy for the organisation, and influence other functional leaders and teams
• Identify problems to be solved, break them down into smaller chunks, and facilitate a process to come up with technology-led ideas to solve them
• Experiment with multiple ideas, test them using MVPs and prototypes, and ensure high product quality through processes such as user acceptance testing and dogfooding
• Create a go-to-market plan working with business and marketing stakeholders to maximise product success
• Define product metrics, track them continuously, and identify usage patterns to move metrics in the right direction
• Create a product roadmap with at least a 3-month forward-looking view of solutions to key customer and business problems
• Lead, mentor, and coach a direct team of Product Managers and Product Analysts

Requirements

• 14+ years of work experience
• At least 10+ years of experience in product management in a tech-led company, preferably with consumer internet experience
• Experience in building and leading high-performing teams
• Exceptional problem-solving skills based on 'first principles' thinking
• Good understanding of technology
• Familiarity with product management processes such as A/B experimentation
• Experience of having managed a direct reporting team of product managers
