Executive Pricing Actuary

Prudential, in partnership with HCL Group, is setting up a standalone Indian health insurance company to address growing healthcare needs in India.

We are seeking an Executive Pricing Actuary to join our team.

Job Summary: As an Executive Pricing Actuary, you will assist in developing and launching new health insurance products, building sophisticated pricing models, analyzing large datasets to optimize pricing and product design, collaborating across teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and launch new, flexible health insurance products informed by market analysis.
• Build and implement sophisticated pricing models for these products, ensuring compliance and robust documentation.
• Analyze large datasets to optimize pricing, product design, and portfolio mix.
• Collaborate across different teams in the organization.
• Continuously improve processes and leverage emerging technologies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, recommending portfolio adjustments, new products, new features, and repricing strategies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of health insurance products, related processes, and regulatory landscape.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in health insurance pricing, product development, predictive modeling, rate filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Nearly Qualified Actuary (or at least 3 CT papers).
• Expertise in actuarial modeling and statistical software (R, SAS, Python, Emblem, Radar, SQL, advanced Excel).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
